I mean, death is death. Whether you have the time to prepare for it or not, it still hurts just the same. You will still ache from the gaping hole in your heart, the empty void of the feelings that used to fill you up. The memories that are just that, memories. Even if you had no idea, even if you had a year to prepare, it still breaks your heart just the same.
