You laid down on your bed and called me over. Just as I was about to sit down, you pulled me onto you, flipped me over, pinned me down on the bed and started tickling me as much as you could in any place you could find, any place you could reach. I was screaming and laughing and crying for you to stop because I couldn’t breathe and when you finally stopped, you started kissing me all over. I never wanted you to stop. When it was time to leave, we got in your car and we started talking. I asked questions and you answered. We kissed at the red lights and you held my hand in your lap as you drove. We sang songs and you laughed at my exaggerated attempts to “ooh-ooh-oooh.” You dropped me off and kissed me goodnight, told me you loved me and kissed me again. I made you promise to be safe and to text me when you got home. You said you would so I closed the car door. You opened the window and instantaneously I leaned in and kissed you again. As you whispered “Goodnight, beautiful girl,” that’s when I thought I hope we never forget how to love each other like this.
