A dip into the surface of the thoughts that consume my head and the feelings that consume my heart. I hope you like it here.

I know it will probably seem silly and insignificant right now but I hope when we live together, and even after many years of doing so, that the little things don’t disappear or become one person’s responsibility. Things like helping each other cook (well, you’ll do most of it because you know how much I suck) and alternating on the washing up and the drying and the emptying of the dishwasher (if you always put away the cutlery, I’ll do the rest).

I cant wait to live with you.

Why do people stay?

People stay because they do not remember what things were like before that other person came into their life. People stay because they only remember “before”. People stay because they think “oh we only get mad at each other sometimes, but most of the time it’s good”. People stay because they like the security that comes with having a relationship. People stay because they know that if other plans fall through, they have someone to see on the weekend. People stay because they’re blinded by what everyone else can clearly see. People stay because they don’t know how to let go. People stay because they don’t know how to be honest. People stay because they figure being in an unhappy relationship is better than being alone. People stay, because above all, they’re waiting for change.

I can’t wait to be in your room, in your bed, under the covers, our lips and our naked bodies pressed together, intertwined in such a way that there is no difference between where you start and I end.

Waiting can be good. Having to wait can make you realise just how badly you want something.

- It can also make you realise that you don’t need something as much you once thought you did.
